How do I search for properties on Properties.rw?

Search for Properties using the Search Bar

• Go to the Properties.rw website home page (see image above)
• In the search bar, you will have the following categories of properties to search for, namely ‘Buy’ (Properties to Buy), ‘Investment’ (Investment Properties), ‘New Build’ (New Build Properties and ‘Rent (Properties to rent)’.
• Select what category you are looking for by clicking on the relevant tab.
• Then enter the State, City or Area in Rwanda that you are searching for. 
• If you do not know the name of the state, city or area, just leave this field empty.
• Then from the drop down menu labelled ‘Categories’ choose the category of property you are searching for. There are two categories – Commercial and Residential Properties, and under each there are sub-categories. For example under Commercial Properties you can find Offices, Retail Units, etc, while under Residential Properties you can find properties listed such as Detached Houses, Apartment or Flats, etc.
• Click on the “Search Properties” button.
• The search results will be displayed on the Advanced Search page. 
• You can then browse the results
• To view the details of a particular property, just click on the property and the property will be displayed on another page giving you all the property details, including how to contact the agent or developer who is advertising the property.

• Use the advanced search features to narrow down your search results.
• Save your search criteria so that you can easily find them again later.
• Set up property alerts so that you are notified when new properties that match your criteria are added.
• Contact a property agent to get help finding the right property for you.
